Lower Falls

Lower Falls, L. Daniel, 6 x 12, SOLD

On Monday, Julie Davis and I went to McKinney Falls State Park to paint the Lower Falls. This is a beautiful park that is just outside of Austin but feels hundreds of miles away. It's one of my favorite places for just that reason! We enjoyed another gorgeous fall day... so great to be outside.

This is just gorgeous, Laurel. Makes me want to get a folding chair and just 'be' there...

Wow - love this. The orange and violet tones work so well together against the aqua waters. Also love the dimensions you chose to show off this scenes beauty. Lovely!!

I love the color in this one too and the size is great for this painting. Looks like it was a beautiful day for painting in Texas!

Gorgeous depth and colour Laurel. I smell Fall in the air, just looking at it.

Wonderful, love your comments that go along with the painting. Love those places we find that seem like they are just in ANOTHER world of their own (smile).
